Mawo Fall

Mawo Fall has over 15 years’ managerial and technical experience in health programming in Senegal, Guinea Bissau, Haiti, Benin and Mozambique. In his current role, Dr. Fall serves as Chief of Party on USAID’s Act to End Neglected Tropical Diseases | East program in Mozambique, a global flagship initiative to help endemic countries fight neglected tropical diseases (NTDs). In this role, he provides technical support to the Mozambique’s Ministry of Health at the central, provincial and district levels to control and eliminate neglected tropical diseases and strengthen the national health system, including capacity strengthening of health personnel, supply chain management, and technical support in adherence to WHO guidelines.
Dr. Fall is a proven leader and has been called upon to provide cross-country support to national NTD programs in the region. His collaborative and diplomatic approach have permitted him to develop strong relationships with high authorities in Mozambique, USAID, and other partners involved in NTDs, helping to ensure that project deliverables exceed expectations and are managed within budget. Dr. Fall is fluent in English, French, and Portuguese.
