Molly Brady

Molly Brady brings over 15 years of experience to her work in infectious diseases, with a focus on strategy development and monitoring and evaluation (M&E) of neglected tropical diseases (NTDs). She is an expert on lymphatic filariasis (LF), also known as elephantiasis, a mosquito-borne illness that causes disfiguring swelling of limbs and genitals. As senior advisor for NTDs, she provides technical assistance to LF-endemic countries on a range of programmatic areas, including achieving coverage targets for mass drug administration, implementing quality surveys, and documenting evidence towards elimination of LF as a public health problem. She brings lessons learned from national programs into dialogue to develop and revise global guidance.

Ms. Brady is a globally recognized expert in lymphatic filariasis and has made significant contributions to the development of global tools for addressing LF morbidity and evolving M&E for LF programs. She is a member of the Global Alliance to Eliminate LF (GAELF) Steering Committee and past Chair of the LF Non-governmental Development Organization (NGDO) Network.

Previously, Ms. Brady served as senior manager on ENVISION, USAID's flagship project aiming at the control and elimination of seven NTDs by the year 2020, with a focus on supporting NTD country programs in Asia.

Before joining RTI International, Ms. Brady worked as a technical officer at WHO’s headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland, and in the WHO Western Pacific Regional Office, finalizing global and regional guidance, regional action plans, and monitoring and evaluation frameworks. She also spent three years supporting USAID's Asia regional office in Bangkok, Thailand, monitoring more than 18 avian influenza program partners working in Burma, China, Laos, Vietnam, and regionally.
