Fred Hollows Foundation

The Fred Hollows Foundation is a leading international development organization that has restored sight to more than 2.5 million people worldwide and supported programs to deliver almost 100 million doses of antibiotics for trachoma. The Foundation was established in Australia in 1992 and believes in a world where no person is needlessly blind or vision impaired. We continue the work of the late Professor Fred Hollows, a globally-renowned eye surgeon who believed everyone should have access to high-quality affordable eye care no matter where they live. He challenged the global system and pioneered low-cost solutions.
